Peter began his investment career in 1988 when he joined Royal London Asset Management. He ran a number of retail and institutional UK equity portfolios and was responsible for analytical coverage of the media sector, amongst others. In 1995 Peter joined Threadneedle Asset Management where he managed UK equity funds, including the Threadneedle UK Select Growth Fund. He led Threadneedle’s investments in the media sector in the UK and subsequently on a pan European basis. He also chaired the global media committee. From 2001, Peter was a co-manager, alongside the lead manager, of the successful Threadneedle Crescendo UK Equity long/short hedge fund. Peter joined IBIS Capital in July 2006.
